Today – over a century after the maiden flight of LZ 1, the first airship built by Ferdinand Count Zeppelin – a Zeppelin Group company, Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik GmbH, headquartered in Friedrichshafen, is again engaged in airship development and construction.

The Zeppelin NT (New Technology) combines the original design principle with modern aviation technology. Flying in a Zeppelin NT was and still is an unforgettable experience. Over 90,000 passengers have enjoyed a flight with the Zeppelin NT, with the altitude of 300 meters showing the world from a different perspective.
