Social commitment

Besides the funding that flows every year to our owner, the charitable Zeppelin Foundation, we also invest large sums directly – as a donor or sponsor – in education, culture, social welfare and sport.

For instance, we have for many years sponsored the Friedrichshafen volleyball team. In recent years we have also allocated major funds in aid of the flood catastrophe in Eastern Germany and the victims of the Tsunami in South East Asia, and in 2008, for the Ethiopia aid program founded by Karlheinz Böhm.

And because arts and culture also answer to a basic human need, we also sponsor of various cultural activities.
