The business activities of the Construction Equipment EU strategic business unit comprise sales and service for Caterpillar construction machinery and Hyster lift trucks.  

Zeppelin and Caterpillar have worked together in the area of sales and service for construction machinery since 1954. In the lift truck business, the U.S.-based NACCO Materials Handling Group has been a partner to Zeppelin since 2001 with its Hyster brand.
Across all products, across every Group company, Zeppelin product support has to measure up to our own tough benchmarks for rapid response, professional handling, and maximum parts availability. This explains why Zeppelin is also fully committed to keeping the skills of service engineers at state-of-the-art levels, with a broad range of training and development to make sure we live up to our promises. Also essential is the quality of workshop equipment and service vehicles. We also maintain an extensive parts store and offer product support with nationwide coverage both on site and in our own workshops. The ongoing development of the SBU Construction Equipment EU is centered on the issues of fleet management and GPS machine control systems for the fully connected worksite.

• Zeppelin Baumaschinen GmbH deals with exclusive sales of CAT construction machinery and Hyster lift trucks as well as support and services relating to these products in Germany.
• Phoenix-Zeppelin spol. s r.o. in the Czech Republic and its subsidiary of the same name in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, deal with exclusive sales of Caterpillar construction machinery. The portfolio also includes support and services relating to these products in both countries. A customer support network offers nationwide coverage for service of construction machines, engines, and other equipment. The Czech company is also responsible for sales and service for Hyster lift trucks in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Ukraine.
• Zeppelin Österreich GmbH deals with exclusive sales of Caterpillar construction machinery and offers a full range of services for these products in Austria.
