Today – over a century after the maiden flight of LZ 1, the first airship built by Ferdinand Count Zeppelin –  Zeppelin Luftschifftechnik GmbH, headquartered in Friedrichshafen, is again engaged in airship development and construction.

The Zeppelin NT (New Technology) combines the original design principle with modern aviation technology. Flying in a Zeppelin NT was and still is an unforgettable experience. Over 90,000 passengers have enjoyed a flight with the Zeppelin NT, with the altitude of 300 meters showing the world from a different perspective.
